What do I need to do?

Once you have accepted, signed your tenancy agreement and have been handed the keys to your new property, you may need to contact the following organisations to arrange for the connection of services. You will need to confirm your name and the date that your tenancy has started.

Meter Readings

 

Do not forget to pass on your meter readings for your gas and electric and where applicable, your water meter readings This will ensure that you only for the energy that you will use and not the energy used by the previous occupier.

Do I need Home Contents Insurance?

 

It is your responsibility to insure the contents of your home against thefts, floods, fire and accidents. To view the details of an insurance provider who runs a scheme called ‘My Home’ via the National Housing Federation.

 

Does Trident have any extra sets of keys?

 

No. Trident does not hold any extra sets of keys for your property. All the keys pertaining to your property will be handed over to you when you sign the tenancy agreement.
