The Skills Hub
The Skills Hub is funded by The Big Lottery Fund. We aim to deliver an integrated, beneficiary-focused, life skills and employability development programme. This will address the unique needs of all, offering continued support to ensure their positive and sustained progression to an independent life. The Skills Hub delivers in six key areas: life skills training, seeking employment skills, careers-based volunteering, IT skills, healthy living and Employment & Development Level 1 Award.
Having a fantastic service, such as The Skills Hub, enables our customers a plethora of opportunity and a unique access to education with the accredited Employment and Development Level 1 Award. The Skills Hub is also a Learning Centre, part of Open College Network West Midlands.
The Skills Hub aims to continue to enhance the lives of customers referred to the service, and the beneficiary-focused approach truly illustrates Trident Reach’s ‘people first’ vision. As there is no other service like it in Birmingham we stand head and shoulders above other homeless service providers in Birmingham, demonstrating the charity’s commitment to moving forward and setting example for other organisations.
