Support

We ProvideServices for Young People, People with Mental Ill health, Learning Disabilities, Older People, Teenage Parents, individuals who are socially and economically excluded, women who have experienced domestic violence and those individuals from a variety of different Black and Ethnic communities who are vulnerable

Trident Reach offers all individuals accessing our services a menu of different levels of service depending on their assessed need ranging from high levels of service input through the full spectrum of service models to the delivery of occasional low level good neighbouring support services. We offer accommodation based services with a single pointy of access through to the delivery of support in individuals own accommodation in the community. Reach is committed to embracing, reflecting and promoting diversity throughout our services. This is reflected in the people we serve and our own workforce.

Mental Health Services

We work closely with individuals and local voluntary/statutory agencies and aim to provide services which support people to regain their independence and confidence to live independently within the community.

We currently have specific mental health services in:

  • Shropshire
  • Birmingham
  • Sandwell

 Young Peoples Services

Our Young People Services provide a package of accommodation and support to 16 - 25 year olds.  Integrating training, job search, personal support and motivation with a place to live, providing a bridge to independence for young people to realise their full potential.

 We currently have:

  • 2 foyers in Birmingham
  • 2 foyers in Sandwell
  • 1 foyer in South Derbyshire
  • 2 aftercare projects - one in Birmingham and one in Derbyshire
  • A teenage parent’s project and Supporting Young Fathers service in Worcester

 Older Peoples Service

Trident Reach over the last 20 years developed and delivered services to older people in the form of sheltered housing schemes located in 4 local authority areas.  We have since the introduction of Supporting People been delivering contracts to these local authorities delivering to over 400 units of accommodation. Reach has developed a range on models all of which have a community resource centre attached to them

 BME Services

In the last 10 years we have developed specialist BME services for the Chinese Community and developed three schemes Connaught Gardens, Victoria House and Cherish House. These schemes were developed in consultation with the Chinese community and we are contracted by Supporting people to offer higher levels of support particularly assisting with language interpretation and translation to enable residents to access health and care services.

Cherish House delivers a service which meets many additional care and support needs including a daily cooked Chinese meal which residents are involved in the menu design and also a registered specialist Chinese Domiciliary Care Service which delivers care through social services contracts and privately.

Trident Reach recognises that some BME people have needs that are very specific and it was vital that we developed housing and services that met the needs, expectations and demands of people from different ethnic groups. We have worked to identify and promote good practice in housing BME people

We are also registered as a Domiciliary Care Agency within Birmingham and Dudley, supporting people who have a learning disability and / or mental health needs.
